RV RouteFinder, LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the RV RouteFinder mobile application and this website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information from you when you use our Service. Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to being transparent about how we handle your data.

To provide and improve our Service, we collect specific information.

• Vehicle Information: We collect the dimensions and specifications of your vehicle, including its length, width, height, weight, and whether it is carrying propane. This data is essential for calculating a route that is safe and appropriate for your specific RV.
• Route Information: We collect your desired origin and destination. This can be entered as a text address or by using your device's location.
• Precise Location Data: With your explicit permission, we access your device's precise location (GPS). This is used for the sole purpose of conveniently setting your route's origin or destination. This feature is optional, and you may still use the app by manually entering locations. We only access your location when you are actively using this feature within the app.
• Device Identifier: To protect our service from abuse, we may receive your device's IP address or another non-personally identifiable device header.
• Anonymous Analytics Data: We collect anonymous usage and analytics data, such as device type, operating system version, and feature interaction within our app. This helps us understand how our Service is used so we can improve it. This data is not linked to your personal identity.
• Google Account Email: We use authentication with your Google account login to control access to our services. 

We use the information we collect for the primary purpose of providing and improving the Service. This includes:

• Calculating Routes: Your vehicle dimensions, route information, and route preferences are used to calculate a customized travel route.
• Displaying the Map: Your route information is used to display an interactive map of your journey.
• Improving User Experience: We save your vehicle information locally on your device so you don't have to re-enter it every time you use the app.
• Analyzing and Improving the Service: We use anonymous analytics data to understand which features are most popular, identify bugs, and make improvements to the app.
• Managing Subscriptions: Authentication with your Google account is used to verify your premium status, unlock premium features, and restore your purchases on a new device.
• Preventing Abuse: We use your device's IP address or another identifier to protect our service from misuse.

To provide our Service, we must share certain information with third-party service providers. We do not sell your personal and sensitive user data.

• Vercel (Proxy Server): For security, all route calculation and location search requests are sent through a proxy server hosted on Vercel. You can view Vercel's privacy policy here.

• Firebase: We use Firebase for analytics and to control access to our services and to collect anonymous usage data to improve our app. You can learn more about Google's privacy practices here.

When you make a purchase within our app, the transaction is processed by the respective app store provider, either the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. We do not collect or store any of your sensitive payment information.

To manage your subscription status, we use a third-party service called RevenueCat. RevenueCat receives a confirmation receipt from the app store and provides our app with your premium entitlement status.

Like most modern applications, our Service is built using software components developed by third parties, including open-source libraries from pub.dev. These components perform essential functions that make our app work. For example, we use packages to:

• Display interactive maps.
• Manage navigation between screens.
• Animate user interface elements.
• Store your preferences securely on your device.
• Enable sharing features.
• Calculate timezones and sunset times.

• Security: We are committed to handling your data securely. All data transmitted between your device and our services is sent using modern cryptography (HTTPS).
• Retention: Your vehicle information is stored locally on your device. This data remains on your device until you clear the app's data or uninstall the application. We do not store this information on our servers. A unique device identifier number is stored on the server to control access to our services. 
• Deletion: Data that you enter into the app can be deleted by clearing the application's data from your device settings or by uninstalling the app. Your unique device identifier cannot be removed because it controls access to your services, thereby preventing fraud and abuse.

Our Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
